Pilot rating - 7 day course The BMAA pilot training program is a comprehensive course, covering the theory and practice of paramotoring. We use a tandem paramotor for initial flights to provide a safe introduction. The controls can be passed to the student allowing them to manoeuvre the wing in preparation for solo flight. The instructor is in control for critical manoeuvres, e.g. take off and landing. Theory - this embraces meteorology, air law, navigation and equipment ending in a multiple choice examination. Practice - this progresses from ground handling to flight, embracing a number of flight tasks. Requirements - take off and landings require a certain degree of physical fitness. |
